Ashcroft Carriages is a family business, established and run by Sarah Ashcroft with more than twenty years experience with horses.

 

At Ashcroft Carriages we use a Friesian horse, these are known as ‘Black Pearls’ they originate from the land of a thousand lakes that are native to the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. This beautiful breed is one of the oldest breeds ever to be recorded; and is the most elegant and magical of all breeds.

 

Ashcroft Carriages uses a black and gold ‘Victoria’ carriage, combining elegance with style. With seating for up to four passengers we endeavor to facilitate a memorable ride. A three quarter hood provides confidence even if the weather should be unkind. A full service come rain or shine is to be expected.

 

For wedding occasions the carriage is tastefully dressed with cream silk flowers.

 

Completing the picture and in keeping with the overall appearance of the turnout, the driver and groom are dressed in appropriate attire including top hats and white gloves.
